Dr. Cleatus Rattan, a former working and rodeo cowboy, was born in Dallas, and taught English at Cisco Jr. College for over 30 years. In 2002 he received the Texas Review Poetry Award for The Border, his first full-length book of poems. He has been selected as The State of Texas Poet Laureate 2004. |
