Why did you write The Technicians Guide for Reading Blueprints?

Much of the material is often too complex for the student and there are simpler ways to describe complex things. Information that is needed to help instruct students how to read blueprints are just hard too find out there and it takes a lot of research. I wrote the book first because I was asked to teach machinists how to read blueprints, but only had 40 hours to do so. I never found what I liked or what I thought would do the trick so that's when I decided to write my own for this particular class. The class ended up being very successful.

How does this book work in the classroom?

The book works in the classroom very well because all the phases of blueprint reading are featured in one book. It has simpler examples that make understanding the drawings easier. My formulas are not complex and are easier to understand than many of the methods that other books use.
